NHPC Apprentice Selection Process 2025
There is no interview. Selection is based on merit calculated from academic marks as follows:

Can general category student apply for NATS/NAPS

Yes, General category candidates are absolutely eligible to apply under both NATS (for Graduate/Diploma Apprentices) and NAPS (for ITI Apprentices) schemes.
However, since you’ve completed B.Sc. (Graduation) and not B.E./B.Tech., you may not be eligible for Graduate Apprentice posts unless the specific post allows general science graduates (which is not mentioned in the current NHPC notification). Most Graduate Apprentice roles require engineering degrees.
