LIC AAO Generalist Selection Process 2025: Prelims Phase
The LIC AAO Generalist prelims exam is an online objective test of 100 questions for 70 marks and 1 Hour duration.
There is a Sectional time limit in the LIC AAO Prelims Exam. In the exam, each section i.e. Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language, will have a separate time of 20 minutes.
There is no negative marking in the exam. Candidates will have to qualify in each section separately.

LIC AAO Generalist Selection Process 2025: Mains Phase
The number of candidates to be shortlisted for LIC AAO Mains will be decided by LIC. In each category, approximately 20 times the number of vacancies, the candidates will be selected for the Mains phase.
In the Mains examination, there will be both objective tests (300 marks) and descriptive tests (25 marks). Candidates have to qualify in each section separately.
There is no negative marking in the exam. The descriptive paper will only be evaluated for those who qualify in the objective part.
