Educational Qualification
- Higher Secondary (+2) or equivalent with minimum 35% marks OR Madhyamik with Stenography Course and 35% marks.
- Knowledge of operating computers with a minimum 3-month certificate from Govt./recognized institute.
- Typing speed: 40 wpm in English.
- Shorthand speed: 100 wpm in English.
- Relaxation of 5% in qualifying marks for SC/ST/PH/Ex-SM.
Age Limit
- Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 23/09/2025.
- Upper age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/PH/Govt. Servants.

Tripura PSC Personal Assistant Selection Process 2025
The recruitment process consists of three stages:
Preliminary Examination – 100 marks, OMR-based MCQ, 1½ hours duration.
Type Writing & Shorthand Writing & Transcription Test – 300 marks total (100 + 200), minimum qualifying 50% (40% for SC/ST).
Main Examination – 250 marks, Conventional Type Test:
- Paper I: English – 100 marks – 3 hrs
- Paper II: Bengali or Alternative English – 50 marks – 1½ hrs
- Paper III: General Knowledge & Current Affairs – 100 marks – 3 hrs
Final merit will be based on marks in the Main Exam plus Type & Shorthand Test.
