The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the final result of the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ Examination 2024. The result was declared on 11th July 2025, following the successful completion of the Stenography Skill Test and preference submission process.
A total of 215 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted for Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 1908 candidates for Stenographer Grade ‘D’, subject to Document Verification by respective user departments.
SSC Stenographer Final Result 2024 Out
The Computer Based Test (CBT) for SSC Steno 2024 was followed by the Skill Test, and preference was taken online from 27th June to 1st July 2025. The category-wise cut-off was based on error percentages in the Skill Test:
- Grade ‘C’: up to 5% errors for UR and 7% for reserved categories
- Grade ‘D’: up to 7% errors for UR and 10% for reserved categories
The final selection has been made on the basis of merit and order of preference submitted by candidates.

SSC Steno 2024 Cut-Off Marks
SSC has fixed category-wise cut-off based on Skill Test accuracy. Here is a brief look:
