- Walk 1600 meters in 15 minutes
For Female Candidates:

If a female candidate is found to be pregnant for 12 weeks or more during the physical test:
- She will be declared temporarily unfit.

- After 6 weeks of delivery, she can reappear for PET.
- A medical fitness certificate from a registered doctor will be required.
- If she clears the test, she will be given the post and seniority as per the rules.

Physical Standard Test (PST) for SSC Havaldar 2025
The PST checks the physical measurements such as height, chest (for males), and weight (for females).
For Male Candidates:
- Height: Minimum 157.5 cm
(Relaxation of 5 cm for Garhwalis, Gorkhas, Assamese, and Scheduled Tribes) - Chest: Minimum 81 cm (when fully expanded), with a minimum expansion of 5 cm
For Female Candidates:
- Height: Minimum 152 cm

Some PwBD candidates are exempted from the walking test in PET based on their disability type.
