RRB Group D Exam City Intimation & Admit Card 2025: Latest Update
The entire RRB Group D exam process is currently on hold due to a legal case in the Delhi High Court.
- The RRB Group D City Intimation Slip 2025 is expected to be released about 10 days before your exam date. This slip will inform you of your allotted city, exam date, and shift.
- The RRB Group D Admit Card 2025 will be released approximately 4 days before the exam. This is your official entry ticket and will contain the exact test center address, reporting time, and shift details.
No candidate will be allowed entry into the exam center without a valid Admit Card.
How Your RRB Group D Exam Centre Decided
When applying, you ranked your preferred exam cities. RRBs try to respect that order but sometimes have to shift candidates due to capacity limits. For example, if your first-choice city is full, expect to be allocated a nearby city within the same zone. So, a candidate from Patna might be shifted to Muzaffarpur or Darbhanga, and someone choosing Chennai may get exam centers in Chengalpattu or Vellore.
After the correction window closed on 13 March 2025, no further changes to city preferences were allowed. The exam centre on your Admit Card is final. This year’s recruitment is huge, about 32,438 vacancies across various Level-1 posts, including Track Maintainer Grade IV, Helper/Assistant roles in Electrical, Mechanical & S&T departments, and Pointsman.
