NHB Consultant Remuneration 2025
Consultants will receive a fixed monthly amount, calculated by deducting basic pension from the last drawn salary. A fixed conveyance allowance of ₹10,000 per month is also applicable. No DA, HRA, or other allowances will be provided.

- Minimum 15 years in officer cadre
- At least 5 years’ experience in handling Disciplinary or RTI matters (as applicable)
- No disciplinary action should be pending at the time of retirement

Consultant – Disciplinary Matters
- Guide on disciplinary and vigilance issues
- Vet case files and draft proceedings
- Support inquiry and disciplinary authorities
- Monitor progress of cases
- Train staff on disciplinary regulations
Consultant – RTI Matters
- Categorize RTI applications and draft responses
- Assist in replies to first and second appeals
- Maintain RTI records
- Support hearings at the CIC
- Assist in updating RTI manuals and public disclosures
NHB Consultant Terms and Conditions
- Contract duration: 6 months (extendable)
- Normal working hours; extended hours as per requirement
- Leave: 1.5 days per month (non-cumulative)
- Not entitled to DA, housing, transport, or medical reimbursement
- Subject to confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements
- Cannot engage in other employment during contract
