IOCL NR Apprentice Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria 2025
Candidates must meet the following criteria as of 30th September 2025:
Age Limit: 18–24 years (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, and up to 10 years for PwBD).
Educational Qualification:
- Technician Apprentice: 3-year full-time Diploma in relevant discipline (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil/Instrumentation/Electronics) with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
- Trade Apprentice (ITI): Matric + 2 years full-time ITI in Fitter/Electrician/Electronics Mechanic/Instrument Mechanic/Machinist.
- Trade Apprentice (Data Entry Operator): Class 12th pass (for Fresher) or Class 12th + Skill Certificate in Data Entry Operator.
- Graduate Apprentice: Full-time Graduate (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com) with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
Higher qualifications (B.E./B.Tech/MBA/CA/MCA etc.) are not eligible.
IOCL Apprentice Stipend 2025
Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as prescribed under the Apprentices Act:
- Technician Apprentice: Approx. ₹8,000–₹12,000 (₹4,000 paid by BOAT + balance by IOCL).
- Graduate Apprentice: Approx. ₹9,000–₹12,000 (₹4,500 paid by BOAT + balance by IOCL).
- Trade Apprentice (ITI/DEO): Full stipend paid by IOCL as per government norms.
IOCL Apprentice Selection Process 2025
The selection will be purely merit-based:
- Merit list prepared on the basis of marks in the prescribed qualification.
- In case of a tie – older candidates (by date of birth) will be given preference.
- Candidates must be medically fit as per IOCL’s pre-engagement medical standards.
- Document verification and medical examination will be mandatory before final engagement.
