Who Can Apply for CBRAIN Internship 2025?
The internship is open to students across India who are:
- In the pre-final or final year of their Bachelor’s (B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc) or Master’s degree (M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc) in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or other related fields.
- In the pre-final or final year of MBBS, MD, MS, MDS, or MPH programs.

Key Features of the CBRAIN Internship 2025
- Duration: The internship usually lasts for 3 months. Shorter internships are not encouraged, but in some cases, longer periods may be considered based on the intern’s interest.
- Mentorship: Each intern will work under the supervision of a CBR scientist. There may also be opportunities to join collaborative projects involving more than one research group.
- Topic Preferences: Interns can choose their top 3 preferred topics while applying through the online form.
- Stipend: A consolidated stipend of INR 20,000 per month will be provided.
- Accommodation & Travel: Interns must arrange their own travel and stay.
- Research Activities: Interns will attend journal clubs, seminars, and other CBR events.
- Final Report: At the end of the internship, students must submit a report outlining their training and work. A poster presentation may also be required to receive the internship certificate.
