FCI GDMO Salary 2025
Here is the remuneration structure for candidates selected as General Duty Medical Officers in FCI:
- Monthly Salary: ₹80,000 (Consolidated)
- Allowances: No additional allowances like DA, HRA, medical, pension, etc. are admissible.
- NPA and Private Practice: Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) is not permitted. Private practice is strictly prohibited.
FCI GDMO Contract Terms & Work Conditions
Below are the major terms and work conditions for the contractual engagement of selected candidates:
- Working Hours: Same as applicable to regular employees at the place of posting.
- Leave: 12 days casual leave per calendar year. No carry forward or encashment allowed.
- TA/DA: Permitted as per AGM (E-3 Grade) level for official tours.
- Termination: Either party can terminate the contract with one month’s notice or by paying one month’s remuneration.
- Medical Fitness: Appointment is subject to medical fitness.
- Legal Conditions: All disputes shall be subject to jurisdiction at the place of posting.

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility conditions will be shortlisted and called for an interview by a designated selection committee. The committee’s decision will be final and binding. Only selected candidates will be informed.
