EMRS TGT Tier I Exam Pattern 2025
The EMRS TGT Tier I exam is the first stage of the selection process and is purely qualifying in nature. The main objective of this exam is to shortlist candidates for the main Subject Knowledge Test (Tier II). The marks in Tier I do not count towards the final merit, but you cannot appear in the next stage unless you secure the minimum qualifying marks.

This exam is conducted in OMR mode, which means it is completely offline and pen and paper-based. The paper consists of objective-type MCQs, carrying a total of 100 marks, and the time duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes. Since it is a qualifying exam but it is mandatory to clear the cut-off.

EMRS TGT Exam Pattern 2025 for Tier II
EMRS TGT Tier II Exam Pattern is the most important stage of the selection process. If you clear Tier I, then you will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:10 to appear for the Tier II exam. The final merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained here. So the final selection is determined at this stage.
The exam is conducted in OMR mode, with both objective and descriptive questions. The total marks are 100, and the time given will be 3 hours. The entire EMRS TGT syllabus will be based on your chosen subject.
