In 2023-24, DSSSB published 15 advertisements covering 200 post codes, inviting applications for 17,624 vacancies across multiple departments. After revisions and adjustments, the effective number stood at 18,186 vacancies for 183 post codes.

  • Group B Posts: 10,823 vacancies were notified for 80 post codes in 21 departments, including Directorate of Education, Delhi Transport Corporation, Health & Family Welfare, Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), and others. These posts were distributed among categories—UR, OBC, SC, ST, and EWS—with special reservations for PwD candidates.
  • Group C Posts: 6,801 vacancies were notified for 121 post codes across 48 departments such as Delhi Jal Board, Directorate of Training, NDMC, Planning Department, Women & Child Development, and more. Categories included UR, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, with additional quotas for PwD, Ex-Servicemen, and Sports candidates.

Dossiers Forwarded to Departments

The Board forwarded 1,094 dossiers of provisionally selected candidates to user departments:

  • 472 for Group B posts (mainly teaching, engineering, and technical disciplines).
