Eligibility
Educational Qualification & Experience
The qualifications required vary by post:
- Engineering/Technical Roles: B.Tech/Diploma in Textile, Mechanical, Polymer, or Electrical with experience ranging from 2 to 5 years.
- Trade Posts (Fitter, Welder, Electrician, etc.): ITI in the relevant trade with minimum 4 years’ experience.
- Chemistry/Biotech Roles: M.Sc in Analytical Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Microbiology, or Biotechnology with minimum 2 years of experience.
- Other Posts: Bachelor’s or Master’s in relevant fields with experience (e.g., B.Design from NID/NIFT, M.Sc in Library Science, M.Tech in Geotechnical Engineering).
Age Limit and Relaxation
- Upper Age Limit: 40 years (as on 01.06.2025)
- Relaxations:
- SC/ST/PwBD/Women: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- HRA will be applicable based on location classification (10% for Alleppey; 30% for Bangalore as per 7th CPC norms).
Salary and Contract Terms
- Contract Duration: 2 years or project duration, whichever is earlier.
- Monthly Salary: Ranges from ₹20,000 to ₹28,000 + HRA based on the post and location.
- Nature of Appointment: Purely contractual, no claim for permanent absorption.
