ARIES PhD Fellowship 2025
Selected candidates will be initially offered a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), which will be upgraded to a Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) after two years upon successful assessment.

Eligibility Criteria for ARIES PhD Program (ISRO-ARFI Project) 2025
Before applying, candidates must ensure they meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics/Astrophysics with a minimum of 55% marks for General/OBC categories and 50% for SC/ST categories. The degree must be from a UGC-recognized University.
- Candidature Window: The candidate should have passed M.Sc. on or after June 1, 2023.
- Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as of 26 September 2025. Age relaxation for reserved categories will be as per UGC rules.
- Mandatory National Test: A valid qualification in JEST -OR- GATE (with a percentile of 95 or more) -OR- CSIR/UGC NET (JRF/LS). For CSIR/UGC NET, only qualifications from the most recent exam held in 2025 are admissible.
