Air Force Agniveervayu Non-Combatant Job Profile
Selected candidates will be deployed in either Hospitality or Housekeeping streams:
- Hospitality Stream: Cooking, kitchen management, food presentation, cleaning, storage, serving, crockery handling etc.
- Housekeeping Stream: Cleaning floors/rooms/bathrooms, washing clothes/utensils, gardening, hair cutting, ironing, tailoring, leather stitching, polishing shoes, and other maintenance duties.

Air Force Agniveervayu Non-Combatant Selection Process
The selection will be conducted in four phases:
Phase I – Written Test
- Subjects: General English (10 Marks), General Knowledge (10 Marks)
- Total Marks: 20
- Qualifying Marks: Minimum 10 aggregate
Phase II – Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
- Height check (Min 152 cm)
- 1.6 Km Run in 6 min 30 sec (extra time for high altitude areas)
- 10 Push-ups, 10 Sit-ups, 20 Squats within stipulated time
Phase III – Stream Suitability Test (SST)
- Practical assessment in Hospitality or Housekeeping tasks
- Candidates must score 50% (15 Marks) to qualify
Phase IV – Medical Examination
- Conducted by Air Force Medical Team as per IAF medical standards

During the 4 years of service, candidates will receive a fixed monthly package along with allowances.
