Kalyani University NET/SET Coaching 2026: Admission Overview

The Centre for NET/SET Coaching & Career Counseling, University of Kalyani has officially opened admissions for a six-month coaching program designed to prepare candidates for the National Eligibility Test (NET) and State Eligibility Test (SET). The program will cover General Paper-I and Subject Paper-II across 24 subjects in a blended (online + offline) mode, with classes held on weekends.

  • Eligibility: Current or former Undergraduate (UG) / Postgraduate (PG) students from any recognized university.
  • Age Limit: Not specified.
  • Subjects for Paper-II: Bengali, Commerce, Chemical Sciences, Computer Science, Economics, Education, English, Environmental Sciences, Folklore, Geography, Hindi, History, Library & Information Science, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Management, Mass Communication, Philosophy, Physical Education, Physical Sciences, Political Science, Sanskrit, Sociology.
  • Condition for Paper-II Classes: A subject will be taught only if at least 10 students enroll.

Enrollment Process in Two Steps

Check below steps to enrol yourself:

Step 1: Fee Payment via SBI Collect

  1. Go to www.onlinesbi.sbi → Select State Bank Collect.
  2. Search “University of Kalyani” → Choose “UNIVERSITY OF KALYANI A/C SBC”.
  3. Select Payment Category: Miscellaneous Payment to KU.
  4. Under Fees Deposit for Course, select NET/SET Coaching.
  5. Pay ₹1,500 (Reserved Categories) / ₹2,000 (General).
  6. Save the payment receipt (PDF/JPEG).

Step 2: Submit Google Form

  1. Access the Google Form here: Enrollment Form Link
  2. Fill in all required details.
  3. Upload:
    • Payment receipt
    • Category certificate (or a blank white paper image for General category candidates)
  4. Submit by 8 January 2026.

Important Advisory for Candidates

The Centre has clarified that Paper-II (Subject Paper) classes will be conducted only if a minimum of 10 students enroll per subject. Candidates enrolling for less-popular subjects are advised that if the minimum quota is not met, they will only receive Paper-I (General Paper) coaching. There is no provision for fee refund in such cases.

The University has also highlighted that the Google Form has a mandatory upload field for caste certificates. General category candidates must upload a photograph of a blank white paper to proceed with the submission.
