Step-by-Step Correction Process
- Visit Website: Go to the official site: jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Log In: Click on the correction link and enter your Application Number and Password.
- Access Form: Find and click on the option for “Correction in Application Form”.
- Review & Edit: Carefully check all sections. Make changes only in the allowed fields (listed below).
- Pay Additional Fee: If your corrections (like category change) result in a fee increase, pay the difference online via Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI.

A. Candidates can change ANY ONE of these fields (Choose only one):
- Candidate’s Name OR
- Father’s Name OR
- Mother’s Name
B. Candidates can change ALL fields in this category:
- Class 10th / Equivalent Details
- Class 12th / Equivalent Details
- State Code of Eligibility
C. Candidates can change ALL fields in this category:
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Category
- Sub-category / PwD Status (If not verified by UDID portal)
- Signature
D. Other Changeable Fields:
- Address: Permanent and Present Address
- Emergency Contact Details
- Photograph of the candidate
- Examination City preferences (Based on address)
- Medium of the examination
- Paper (Addition of Paper)
- Aadhaar Details (Only for those who registered with other ID)
Non-Editable Fields in JEE Main 2026 Correction Window
Candidates shall NOT be allowed to change the following under any circumstances:
- Mobile Number
- Email Address

- One-Time Facility: Corrections can be made only once. After final submission, the form is frozen.
- Fee Payment: Any applicable additional fee must be paid by the correction deadline. The fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.
