Three New Sainik Schools Added for AISSEE 2026
The addition of these three schools is part of the Ministry of Defence’s Public-Private Partnership (PPP) programme to expand military-style education across the nation. This expansion aims to reach deserving candidates from smaller states and areas that previously had limited seats.
The newly incorporated schools under the PPP model are:
- Sri SPK Public Senior Secondary School, Tamil Nadu
- Vadem Nagar Higher Secondary School, Goa
- Yogeshwari Sainik School, Ambajogai, Maharashtra
With this addition, India now has more than 45 new Sainik Schools operational. These newly established schools are part of the government’s effort to expand quality military-style education across the country. Including the 33 legacy institutions, the total number of Sainik Schools has now reached nearly 78 nationwide.
