How to Apply Online for IIM CAT 2025?
Candidates must complete the CAT registration process only through the official website – iimcat.ac.in. Applications submitted through any other mode will not be accepted. Below is the step-by-step process as per the official registration guide:
Step 1: New Candidate Registration
- Visit www.iimcat.ac.in.
- Click on “Register” under New Candidate Registration.
- Enter your name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number.
- Generate OTP and validate it.
- After successful OTP verification, you will receive a User ID and Password on your registered email/mobile.
Step 2: Login and Fill Application Form
- Use your User ID and Password to log in as a “Registered Candidate”.
- Fill in Personal Details, Academics, Work Experience, Programmes, Test City Preferences, and complete the Declaration section.
- Upload required documents: recent passport-size photograph, signature, valid category/PwD certificates (if applicable).
Step 3: Pay the Application Fee
- General/EWS/NC-OBC: ₹2600
- SC/ST/PwD: ₹1300
- Payment can be made via Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, or Net Banking.
- Once payment is successful, an email and SMS confirmation will be sent.
