The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has issued an important notice for reserved category candidates of WBJEE 2025. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) have been asked to upload their caste/tribe/community certificates on the official website. The certificate submission window is open from August 18 to August 21, 2025 (11:59 PM) at wbjeeb.nic.in.
This directive comes following the order of the Calcutta High Court regarding OBC reservation and publication of a revised merit list. Candidates are advised to complete the submission process before the deadline to ensure their category benefits are considered.

Why WBJEE 2025 Results Got Delayed?
The WBJEE 2025 results, earlier scheduled for August 7, were delayed due to a court directive. The Calcutta High Court observed that the initial merit list did not comply with the state’s OBC reservation policy. This led the board to put results on hold and call for fresh certificate submissions.
