Candidates need to fulfill the following criteria:
- Must have a Master’s degree (M.A./M.Sc.) in Anthropology or allied discipline from a recognized university.
- Minimum marks: As per CU Ph.D. Regulation 2016.
- Candidates who cleared UGC/CSIR (JRF), NET, SET, SLET, GATE, DST-INSPIRE Fellowship, Teacher Fellowship, M.Phil., M.Tech., M.D., M.E., M.Pharm. or equivalent are exempt from the RET written test. They can directly appear for the interview.
