ICMR-NIOH JRF Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying, candidates must ensure they meet the educational qualifications, experience requirements, and age limit as mentioned below.
Essential Qualification:
Postgraduate (M.Sc./M.Tech) in Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or allied subjects.
Must be selected through any one of the following:
- National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET (including lectureship/Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
- National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments/agencies like DST, DBT, DAE, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER, etc.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in microbiology, biochemical techniques (SDS-PAGE, Western blotting, protein purification, enzyme assays), molecular biology techniques (PCR, cloning, recombinant protein expression).
- Knowledge of bioinformatics, biostatistics, data analysis & presentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office, SPSS/Prism, and strong English communication skills.
Age Limit:
- Not more than 28 years as on the last date of application.
- Age relaxation as per Government of India norms.

Salary for ICMR-NIOH JRF Recruitment 2025
