NMDC Trainee Recruitment 2025 Educational Qualifications & Experience
Candidates must meet the specific qualifications and experience for the post they are applying to:
- Field Attendant: Middle Pass or ITI.
- Maintenance Assistant (Elect.): ITI in Electrical Trade.
- Maintenance Assistant (Mech.): ITI in Fitter/Welder/Machinist/Motor Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic/Auto Electrician.
- Blaster Grade-II: Matric/ITI with Blaster or Mining Mate Certificate and 3 years of experience in blasting operations.
- Electrician Gr.-III: 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering and relevant certifications.
- Electronics Technician Gr.-III: 3-year Diploma in Electronics Engineering.
- HEM Mechanic Gr.-III: 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and valid HMV license.
- HEM Operator Gr.-III: 3-year Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering and valid HMV license.
- MCO Gr.-III: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with HMV license.
- QCA Gr.-III: B.Sc. in Chemistry/Geology with 1-year sampling experience.
Candidates holding qualifications higher than those prescribed are ineligible.
NMDC Trainee Recruitment 2025 Age Limit and Relaxation
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years as on June 14, 2025
Age relaxation is available:

- OBC (NCL): 3 years

Stipend and Pay Scale
During the 18-month training period, selected candidates will receive a stipend as follows:

NMDC Trainee Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
The selection process comprises two stages:
OMR/Computer-Based Test (CBT):
- For Field Attendant: 70 marks (GK) + 30 marks (Reasoning/Numerical)
- For others: 30 marks (Subject), 50 marks (GK), 20 marks (Reasoning/Numerical)
2nd Level Test (Qualifying Only):
- Physical Ability Test for Field Attendant
- Trade Test for other posts
Minimum qualifying marks in CBT:
- UR/EWS: 50
- OBC (NCL): 45
- SC/ST/PwBD: 40
