IWAI Internship 2025-26 Eligibility

Educational Qualifications & Marks

  • For Undergraduate students: Must have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th examination.
  • For Post-Graduation students: Must have obtained 60% in the graduation degree.
  • For Research Scholars: Must have obtained at least 60% in Post-Graduation.

Inland Waterways Authority of India Internship 2025-26 Application Process

Eligible and interested students must follow an offline process to apply for the internship.

Application Form: Candidates must send their application along with their CV in the prescribed format (Annexure-A of the circular) to the following address: The Secretary,

No Objection Certificate (NOC): Upon selection, candidates are required to produce a letter from their Head of Department/Principal indicating their status and a “No Objection” for the internship period.

    IWAI Internship 2025-26 Stipend and Benefits

    Selected interns will be eligible for the following benefits:

    • Stipend: A monthly stipend of ₹10,000 for Undergraduate interns and ₹20,000 for Post Graduate/Research Scholar interns. The stipend is paid based on satisfactory completion and attendance.
    • Logistic Support: IWAI will provide working space. Interns must have their own laptops.
    • Travel Reimbursement: Travel costs for official work will be reimbursed as per the entitlement of a Technical Assistant at IWAI.
    • Certificate: A certificate of successful completion will be issued upon submission and evaluation of the final report/paper.
