A candidate taking up Honours Course in a subject must have obtained:
- A minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate and 45% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination.
OR - 55% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination.
OR - 50% marks in the aggregate when the candidate has not studied the subject in his/her previous qualifying examination provided all the other clauses are satisfied.

Students belonging to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe Community taking up Honours Course of study must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate and 40% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination, as the case may be. Caste Certificate Issued and signed by appropriate authorities, not below the rank of SDO of West Bengal Government can be acceptable fail to provided then your admission will be cancelled other state candidates who belong to SC, ST, OBC-A and OBC-B are treated as a General Candidate as per rule.
For Other Board Candidates:
Except for WBCHSE, CBSE, ISC, and the National Institute of Open Schooling, other board candidates have to submit the Migration Certificate for getting Registration under the University.

1. Candidates have to visit the college official website and click on the admission portal.
2. After that fill the application form correctly.
3. Then submit the completely filled application by paying an application fee online.
Applicants should carry the required documents at the time of admission –
- Attested true copy Madhyamik Mark sheet & Admit Card.
- Attested a copy of the H.S. Mark sheet and Admit Card.
